Friends of Inti Wara Yassi

Friends of Inti Wara Yassi work to fund raise and raise awareness of the projects in Boliva. Rescuing animals from the illegal pet trade, zoos and circuses like Bears and monkeys.

Their aims are to care for these often mistreated animals, found in terrible facilities and nurse them back to full health releasing back to the wild where possible. Some have been captive kept for so long and have so developed physiological traumas, meaning that they cannot be released so will be cared for in their long term sanctuary.

Education to the locals is key, to prevent the circle of wild animals being kept as pets.
