Based at Union Farm Boarding Kennels in Craigrothie (Fife), Haven Dog Rescue takes in unwanted, abandoned and neglected canines to rehabilitate, nourish and take care of them. Once they have established that a dog is back to better health or frame of mind, then the charity will look into rehoming that dog. Their dogs’ well-being is the most important thing to Haven and they check and vet every prospective new home for a dog.
They always make clear that they have both the dog and prospective owner’s interests at heart and, as such, ask for patience when someone chooses a dog that they’d like to take home; they do not always know the past history of a dog and so need to be certain that the dog is the right match.
