Feline Care Cat Rescue is a registered charity based in East Harling, Norfolk, specialising in the rescue, rehoming and care of domestic and feral cats. At Feline Care we are not afraid to take on more difficult cases and pride ourselves on our therapeutic work with feral and nervous cats. Cats of all ages, behaviour and health are offered sanctuary and cared for by a very committed team of volunteers, always in the hope of finding them permanent and well suited homes. Our purpose-built cat rescue centre is set in three acres of rural and tranquil cat paradise!
We do everything we can to help as many cats as possible whilst maintaining the highest standard of care for our feline friends. Every cat who comes into our home becomes part of the Feline Care family and no cat ever leaves site without being neutered and micro-chipped. Of course not every cat is lucky enough to find their dream home so we operate a strict policy that they are welcome with us for as long as they need us and no cat will be put to sleep, unless of course their health dictates.
Mrs Hamilton is a very special lady who came to Feline Care over two years ago. Before enjoying life at Feline Care, she had a tough time living in a hedgerow and trying to bring up her family of kittens with an eye injury. She could not catch enough food to keep herself in milk and her kittens were growing much weaker. Mrs Hamilton and her kittens were trapped & neutered by Feline Care, her kittens found their perfectly suitable forever homes and it was decided that Mrs Hamilton would be released on site. With lots of love from our dedicated team, Mrs H has become domesticated and leads a very happy life at Feline Care; she now curls up on duvets when she wants warmth & comfort, snacks when offered a treat, appreciates cuddles and snuggles and loves to pose for the camera – she has become a bit of a celebrity at Feline Care! Feline Care offer a cat sponsorship scheme and Mrs Hamilton can be sponsored.
Feline Care Cat Rescue does not receive any government funding; therefore we rely entirely on public support. We always have room for more volunteers so please get in touch if you have a spare morning to donate, cats can never have enough cuddles!
