On the third day of Christmas Animal Friends donated to Holly Hedge Animal Sanctuary!
Holly Hedge Animal Sanctuary was first registered as a charity in 1982 and was known as ‘Animal Concern’. It was run by Pauline Leeson who worked from her own home with the support of animal foster carers. The aim of the sanctuary has always been to provide a safe haven for cats and dogs (and the odd rabbit) until a loving, permanent and responsible home can be found.
Holly Hedge do all they can to ensure that the animals time there is as stress free as possible. They are currently working on a new sensory garden and the cats have their own outside play zone where they can stretch their legs and jump and climb all the different obstacles set out for them!
Our third 12 days of Christmas donation is to Holly Hedge Animal Sanctuary for the exciting amount of:
We recently visited Holly Hedge to give them the good news and have a little look around! Holly Hedge is run by some truly amazing staff, who care a great deal for the well being of all their furry residents. We saw some friendly, loving dogs and cats who all needed forever homes. It was heartbreaking to see them there, however it was amazing to see how many of them are already reserved just waiting to go to their new homes! If you think that you might have what it takes to take on a new furry friend have a look on their website for details of who is looking for a home. Please remember all pets are for life, not just for Christmas!
As always, we can’t thank our policy holders enough for continuing to use Animal Friends, as without you we would not be able to make such amazing donations.
Merry Christmas to all at the Holly Hedge Animal Sanctuary!
