Who are German Shepherd Rescue Scotland?

Established in 2008, German Shepherd Rescue (GSR) covers the breadth of Scotland and works tirelessly to rescue and rehome German Shepherd dogs. The charity completely relies upon donations to help with the cost of rescuing dogs which includes expensive veterinary fees, kennelling and transportation.

GSR aims to make sure that all of the dogs they rehome are safe, cared-for and well-loved; they do this by completing an individual assessment of each dog, which includes calling the veterinary practice the dog is registered with to gain a better understanding of their history and needs. After an assessment has been completed a new home will be found for the dog, this home will have been carefully checked by the charity.
