Individuals do not have to be a dog owner to enter. Individuals may enter on behalf of a friend or family member who owns a dog.
To enter, individuals must leave a comment telling us why they’d want to attend a dog first aid course, on the original Dog First Aid Month Giveaway Facebook post.
If individuals also comment a photo or photos of their dog, or their friend or family member’s dog alongside their comment, this will count as one bonus entry.
1 randomly selected comment on the Facebook giveaway post will receive an invitation to attend a free dog first aid course (in person where available or online), plus one dog first aid kit, courtesy of Dog First Aid Training Ltd. Five randomly selected runner-up comments will also each receive one dog first aid kit.
Only one entry per Facebook account is permitted in the giveaway and multiple entries will be discounted.
The giveaway is exclusively for Facebook users. We will not accept entries via Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, email, sent in the mail, or posted anywhere that is not on the original Dog First Aid Giveaway Facebook post.
Commenting a photo or video of a dog is optional (but greatly welcomed 😊) and will count as one bonus entry. Multiple photos commented of the same dog will count as one bonus entry only.
If the individual wishes to accompany their comment with a photo or video, individuals acknowledge that the photo or video is solely their own property, or that they have obtained permission from their friend or family member to use their picture.
A random number generator will be used to randomly select 1 winning comment and 5 runners-up comments posted on the Facebook post.
Comments of anything not relating to the original Facebook post will be discounted and/or removed without warning.
All entrants must use their own Facebook accounts to enter.
All entrants will be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions.
Entry is free.
There is no automatic prize. Commenting does not guarantee winning a prize.
The giveaway runs for 6 days from 9:00am on Friday 29th April, until 23:59pm on Thursday 5th May 2022.
The winner and runners-up will be notified publicly via a reply to their comment posted on the original Facebook post on Friday 6th May. We will then privately message the winner and 5 runners-up via Facebook messenger, asking them to email their postal address details to marketing@animalfriends.co.uk. The personal information you provide to us will be used only to administer your prize and will be kept in accordance with our Privacy Policy: https://www.animalfriends.co.uk/privacy-policy/
The winner and runners-up have until Friday 20th May to email us their postal address. If no correspondence has been entered to by this date, the prize will be voided, and another winner/runner-up will be selected.
By winning and subsequently accepting the prize of a free dog first aid course, the winner consents to us sharing their contact details with Dog First Aid Training Ltd. for the purpose of arranging the dog first aid course.
The prize is non-transferable and there is no cash or other alternative.

The decision of Animal Friends in all matters under its control is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
Animal Friends accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of taking part in the giveaway. Animal Friends further disclaims liability for any injury or damage to your or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in connection with the giveaway.
Dog First Aid Training Ltd. will contact the winner to coordinate the participation date of the course. Animal Friends accepts no responsibility for any delay or failure to deliver the dog first aid course.
Animal Friends accepts no responsibility for any delays encountered with the delivery of the dog first aid kids.
If any paragraph in these terms and conditions is found by any court or administrative body of competent jurisdiction to be invalid or unenforceable, such invalidity or unenforceability shall not affect the other paragraphs of these terms and conditions, which shall remain in full force and effect.
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The Courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction in connection with these terms and conditions.
