The Competition is open to people aged 18 and over.
To vote for your favourite charity from the list of ten you must comment on the original “Million Pound Pledge” Facebook post. Tag one of the ten animal welfare charities in the comments, accompanied with one sentence explaining why the charity deserves to receive a donation of £10,000.
Any tagged charities without the accompanying sentence will not be counted.
Any charities tagged, which are not one of our ten prelisted animal welfare charities, will not be counted.
The top ten tagged charities with the most Facebook ‘tags and sentence explaining why the charity deserves to receive a donation of £10,000’ will be notified that they have won on Friday 21st August. They will be announced publicly on Facebook and via direct message. We will also contact the charity via phone/email
Charities, and members/volunteers associated with those charities, may vote for themselves.
Animal Friends staff may take part in the vote.
The top five charities with the most Facebook ‘tags and sentence explaining why the charity deserves to receive a donation of £10,000’ will each receive £10,000.
The five runner up charities will receive £2,000 each.
Animal Friends will follow up with each charity to confirm how the donation has been spent and reserves the right to publish information internally and to an external audience (social media, newsletter, website, email)
All entrants must use their own Facebook accounts to enter.
Only one entry per Facebook account is permitted. Animal Friends will disallow duplicate entries where it finds them.
All entrants will be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions.

There is no automatic prize but tagging and commenting will enter the charity from the list of ten into the draw.
