Halloween Bat Cat Scratcher Product Review
If you want your cat to be able to join in with the Trick-or-Treat festivities this Halloween, then the Halloween Bat Cat Scratcher might be what you need. With black wings, pointy ears, angry eyes, and a generously-sized round scratchpad the Bat Cat Scratcher offers your cat a large area to satisfy their scratching needs.

What we like about the product
I really liked the Halloween design, but it seems I was alone in that! Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be anything that Lulu liked about the scratching pad (other than the box that it was delivered in, which has provided hours of entertainment!).
What we don’t like about the product
For some reason, Lulu took an instant disliking to the Halloween scratching pad! I’m not sure if it was maybe the red eyes that she didn’t like, or if she was just utterly unimpressed that I was trying to get her to scratch something other my carpet or my furniture! As a result, Lulu wasn’t at all interested in testing it out and it hasn’t been touched since I took it out of the box.
Although we didn’t get the chance to put it through its paces the mat is really lightweight, so I can imagine that it would move around a bit too much and would probably not withstand a full-on Lulu scratching session.
The final verdict
It’s a fun looking Halloween kitty product but unfortunately, Lulu didn’t share my enthusiasm for it. Perhaps another cat who is a good & frequent scratchpad user might get more enjoyment out of it but for us, I think my furniture and sofa are still going to be the scratching posts of choice for the time being.
We got Lulu when she was a kitten and despite her being a slightly older lady now (almost 8 years old) she’s still a crazy little kitten at heart. Lulu can go from a wild beast doing zoomies around the house to a total softy – loving nothing more than curling up on the sofa for big cuddles at the end of the day. Lulu is also a complete floozy, she loves posing on our front gate getting attention from all of our neighbours, she’s even been known to go home with them on occasion and I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve had to go and retrieve her from a neighbours sofa!
