Accepting the award on behalf of Animal Friends Insurance, Chris Newnham, Marketing Manager, said “These awards are an outstanding achievement not just for Animal Friends as a brand and its employees but also for our excellent marketing department; this is a team result. Everyone at Animal Friends works hard so it’s great to be recognised within our local community for our achievements as we constantly strive to separate ourselves from the competition and maintain a unique approach. We are overwhelmed that the judges, who are experts in their field, have acknowledged our efforts and we plan to continue our growth upon this success.”
The AN.X Agency Marketing Excellence award recognises how a company applies their marketing strategy to their overall business model; the judges said “Animal Friends Insurance impressed us on numerous fronts. They have managed to bring personality to a business sector often lacking in it and they have created a consistent brand message both internally and externally with the company, and they have shown rigorous financial controls and continuous evaluation of activities.”
The Design Type Digital Media award reaffirms Animal Friends’ belief that engaging and looking after not just policyholders, but the online pet-owner community as a whole, is essential for a business in this digital age. The judges commented “Animal Friends Insurance are not just ticking boxes but have managed to create a wholesocial environment with themselves at the heart. They’ve a distinctly different outlook to their competitors with a fresh approach that makes them really stand out from other pet insurers.”
