National Pet Month Giveaway Terms & Conditions

This giveaway is now closed. 

1. The giveaway is open only to individuals aged 18 and over.
2. The giveaway is open only to individuals who reside in the United Kingdom.
3. The giveaway is open to both Animal Friends Insurance (“Animal Friends”) customers and non-customers.
4. The giveaway is not open to Animal Friends Insurance employees.
5. To enter, individuals must:

• Follow the Animal Friends Instagram page
• Guess the breed of the puppy in the photo and state their answer in the comments, on the original National Pet Month Giveaway Instagram post.

6. Individuals do not have to be a dog or puppy owner to enter. Individuals may enter on behalf of a friend or family member who owns a dog or puppy.
7. Two randomly selected winners from Instagram will each receive one £59.99 Pet Portrait e-voucher code to redeem at Purr & Mutt (https://animalfriends.paperform.co/), plus £50 worth of e-vouchers to spend at a variety of retailers (https://animal-friends.select-your-reward.co.uk/).
8. One correct guess from each individual will be permitted in the giveaway. Duplicate entries will be discounted.
9. The giveaway is exclusively for Instagram users. We will not accept entries via Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, email, sent in the mail, or posted anywhere that is not on the National Pet Month Giveaway Instagram post.
10. A random number generator will be used to randomly select two correct guesses from the Instagram comments. The two people who posted these comments will then each receive 6 voucher codes in total – one £59.99 Purr & Mutt e-voucher, and five £10 e-vouchers.
11. Comments of anything not relating to the original Instagram post will be discounted and/or may be removed without warning.
12. Any comments which include swearing, are defamatory, are complaints, or use language/phrasing which breaches our Community Guidelines (https://www.facebook.com/notes/animal-friends-pet-insurance/community-guidelines/1725273750828108/), will be discounted from the giveaway and may be removed without warning.
13. All entrants must use their own Instagram account to enter.
14. All entrants will be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions.
15. Entry is free.
16. There is no automatic prize. Following our accounts or correctly guessing the breed does not guarantee winning a prize.
17. The giveaway runs for seven days from 9:00am on Friday 25th March, until 23:59pm on Thursday 31st March.   
18. The two winners will be notified publicly via a reply to their comment posted on the original Instagram post on Friday 1st April, and they will also be direct messaged privately in order to send their exclusive e-voucher codes.
19. By entering and subsequently winning the giveaway, the prize winners will be deemed to have accepted the https://purrandmutt.com/ Terms of Service when redeeming their £59.99 e-voucher: https://purrandmutt.com/policies/terms-of-service
20. All winners will also be deemed to have accepted the Hawk Incentives Limited Terms and Conditions upon redeeming their code: https://ultimate.select-your-reward.co.uk/TermsAndConditions
21. The two winners have a maximum of 3 weeks (until 21^st April 2022) to redeem their £50 worth of e-voucher codes at https://animal-friends.select-your-reward.co.uk/ before they expire.
22. The two winners have a maximum of 6 months (until September 2022) to redeem their £59.99 Pet Portrait e-voucher code at https://animalfriends.paperform.co/ before they expire.
23. Animal Friends will not replace any voucher code if it has not been redeemed by the expiry date.
24. We keep your identifiable information private and manage it in accordance with our Privacy Policy: https://www.animalfriends.co.uk/privacy-policy/
25. The prize is non-transferable and there is no cash or other alternative.
26. We will respond to any questions or queries about the giveaway via Instagram or via email at marketing@animalfriends.co.uk.
27. Animal Friends reserves the right to cancel this giveaway or amend these terms and conditions at any time upon reasonable notice.
28. The decision of Animal Friends in all matters under its control is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
29. Animal Friends accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of taking part in the giveaway. Animal Friends further disclaims liability for any injury or damage to your or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in connection with the giveaway.
30. Animal Friends accepts no responsibility for any delays encountered with the delivery of the vouchers.
31. If any paragraph in these terms and conditions is found by any court or administrative body of competent jurisdiction to be invalid or unenforceable, such invalidity or unenforceability shall not affect the other paragraphs of these terms and conditions, which shall remain in full force and effect.
32. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The Courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction in connection with these terms and conditions.
33. This giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Meta or Instagram.
