Pride of My Pet Giveaway Terms & Conditions

This giveaway has now ended.

1. The giveaway is open only to individuals aged 18 and over.
2. The giveaway is open only to individuals who reside in the United Kingdom.
3. The giveaway is open only to pet owners.
4. The giveaway is open to both Animal Friends Insurance (“Animal Friends”) customers and non-customers.
5. The giveaway is not open to Animal Friends Insurance employees.
6. To enter, individuals must:

• Like the ‘Pride of My Pet’ Instagram post
• Follow the Animal Friends Instagram account
• Leave one comment on the ‘Pride of My Pet’ Instagram post explaining why they are proud of their pet.
• One bonus entry will be given if the individual also adds the post to their Instagram story, and tags in the Animal Friends Instagram account

7. One randomly selected winner will receive one Coolstays holiday e-voucher worth £150, plus one Pet Hamper e-voucher worth £50.
8. A random number generator will be used to randomly select the one winner from the comments on the original Instagram post, subjected to that individual having also liked the post and followed the AFI Instagram account.
9. The giveaway is exclusively for Instagram users. We will not accept entries via Instagram Messenger, any other social platform, email, sent in the mail, or posted anywhere that is not on the ‘Pride of My Pet’ Instagram post.
10. Multiple comments on the Instagram post do not increase the chances of winning and will be discounted in the giveaway.
11. Individuals will receive one bonus entry should they also add the post to their Instagram story and tag us in it. Multiple stories added do not increase the chances of winning and will be discounted in the giveaway.
12. Comments of anything not relating to the original Instagram post will be discounted and/or removed without warning.
13. Any comments which include swearing, are defamatory, are complaints, or use language/phrasing which breaches our Community Guidelines (https://www.facebook.com/notes/animal-friends-pet-insurance/community-guidelines/1725273750828108/), will be discounted from the giveaway and may be removed without warning.
14. All entrants must use their own Instagram accounts to enter.
15. All entrants will be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions.
16. Entry is free.
17. There is no automatic prize. Liking the post, following us or commenting does not guarantee winning a prize.
18. The giveaway runs for 7 days from 9:00am on Monday 19^th June until 11:59pm on Sunday 25^th June.
19. The randomly selected winner will be notified that they have won publicly via a reply to their comment posted on the original Instagram post, on Monday 26^th June.
20. We will shortly thereafter privately message the winner asking them to email us via marketing@animalfriends.co.uk
21. The winner has 7 working days to provide us with their email address via marketing@animalfriends.co.uk. If no correspondence has been entered into within 7 days, the prize will be voided, and another winner randomly selected.
22. By entering and subsequently winning the Coolstays and the Pet Hamper e-vouchers, the winner will be deemed to have accepted both the Coolstays and Pet Hamper Terms and Conditions: https://www.coolstays.com/terms/ and https://pethamper.co.uk/website-terms/
23. Animal Friends will not replace any e-voucher code if it has not been redeemed by the expiry date.
24. We keep your identifiable information private and manage it in accordance with our Privacy Policy: https://www.animalfriends.co.uk/privacy-policy/
25. The prize is non-transferable and there is no cash or other alternative.
26. We will respond to any questions or queries about the giveaway via Instagram messenger or via email at marketing@animalfriends.co.uk.
27. Animal Friends reserves the right to cancel this giveaway or amend these terms and conditions at any time upon reasonable notice.
28. The decision of Animal Friends in all matters under its control is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
29. Animal Friends accepts no responsibility for any delays encountered with the delivery of the e-vouchers.
30. Animal Friends accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of taking part in the giveaway. Animal Friends further disclaims liability for any injury or damage to your or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in connection with the giveaway.
31. If any paragraph in these terms and conditions is found by any court or administrative body of competent jurisdiction to be invalid or unenforceable, such invalidity or unenforceability shall not affect the other paragraphs of these terms and conditions, which shall remain in full force and effect.
32. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The Courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction in connection with these terms and conditions.
33. This giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram.
