Social Media Event Giveaway Terms & Conditions
1. The giveaways are open only to individuals aged 18 and over.
2. The giveaways are open only to individuals attending Dogstival or Pawfest events in 2025.
3. The giveaways are open only to individuals who reside in the United Kingdom.
4. The giveaways are not open to any Animal Friends Insurance, Dogstival or Pawfest employees.
5. To enter, individuals must do the following on the days of the events:
- Take pictures and/or videos at the event.
- Upload their pictures and/or videos from the event to their own social media account and/or Stories.
- Tag Animal Friends social media accounts in their pictures, videos or Stories on either Facebook, Instagram or TikTok
6. The event giveaways run on the following dates:
- Pawfest: Saturday 10th – Sunday 11th May 2025, 10:00 – 17:00
- Dogstival: Saturday 31st May – Sunday 1st June 2025, 9:30-17:00
7. Animal Friends social media account handles are as follows: Facebook @AnimalFriendsPetInsurance; Instagram @animalfriendsinsurance; TikTok @animalfriendsinsurance.
8. Individuals can enter at any time across each of the event days and can enter across as many platforms as they wish, limited to Facebook, Instagram and TikTok. Entries submitted via any other channel will not be counted in the giveaway.
9. Multiple pictures and/or videos entered per social account will be counted in the giveaways. Individuals can tag us in as many pictures and/or videos, across as many channels, as they wish. Every photo and/or video that the individual submits, will count as one entry, increasing the odds of winning. There is no limit to the number of photos and/or videos they can tag us in.
10. There are two prizes being given away, one prize per event. One randomly selected winner from each of the two events will win a holiday gift voucher worth £200 from Coolstays.
11. We reserve the right to substitute certain products for like for like products should these not be available from their suppliers for whatever reason.
12. Any entries deemed offensive, dangerous, or exhibiting poor conduct will be disqualified and not considered a valid entry.
13. A verifiable random number process will be used to select one winner per event.
14. Entrants must tag at least one of Animal Friends’ social media handles correctly, to be counted in the giveaway. Animal Friends accepts no responsibility for entries that have not been counted due to user spelling error.
15. The giveaways are exclusively for Facebook, Instagram and TikTok. We will not accept entries submitted via direct messenger, any other social media platform, email, or sent in the mail.
16. All entrants will be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions.
17. Entry to the two giveaways is free. We will never ask for your bank details or credit card details as part of any social media giveaway.
18. There is no automatic prize. Entering does not guarantee winning a prize.
19. The two giveaways end at 11:59pm on the last day of each event. Any entries received outside of this time will be discounted in the giveaways.
20. The two winners will be notified via the social platform they used to enter, no later than two weeks after each event finishes. The winners must direct message us via the social platform they used to enter, for Animal Friends to organise their prize.
21. The delivery of the prizes will be facilitated by Animal Friends, who will purchase the prize within three weeks from the date the prize is announced and accepted by the winner.
22. The prize will be delivered directly to the winners’ private message inbox, via the social platform they used to enter. The personal information you provide to us will be used only to administer your prize and will be kept in accordance with our Privacy Policy: https://www.animalfriends.co.uk/privacy-policy/
23. When sharing pictures and/or videos in relation to these giveaways, you give Animal Friends permission to use your content across our Marketing material. If at any point you would like to withdraw consent for the use of your pictures and/or videos, please contact harriet.mcclure@animalfriends.co.uk
24. The prize is non-transferable and there is no cash or other alternative.
25. We will respond to any questions or queries about these giveaways at the event or via email at harriet.mcclure@animalfriends.co.uk
26. Animal Friends reserves the right to cancel these giveaways or amend these terms and conditions at any time upon reasonable notice.
27. The decision of Animal Friends in all matters under its control is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
28. Animal Friends accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of taking part in the giveaway. Animal Friends further disclaims liability for any damage to your or any other person’s computer, relating to - or resulting from - participation in - or downloading any materials in connection with the giveaways.
29. Animal Friends accepts no responsibility for any delays encountered with the delivery of the prizes.
30. If any paragraph in these terms and conditions is found by any court or administrative body of competent jurisdiction to be invalid or unenforceable, such invalidity or unenforceability shall not affect the other paragraphs of these terms and conditions, which shall remain in full force and effect.
31. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The Courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction in connection with these terms and conditions.
32. These giveaways are in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Meta, Facebook, Instagram or TikTok.
