Animal Friends & Pet Database Offer Terms & Conditions – Free Pet Database Microchip Registration  

Customers who purchase a policy directly from Animal Friends Insurance Services Limited (“Animal Friends”) are entitled to a free Pet Database microchip registration on the following terms:

  • The offer is for a free standard Pet Database microchip registration worth £20 when you purchase a new cat or dog Lifetime, Max Benefit or Time Limited policy directly from Animal Friends (via our website animalfriends.co.uk).
  • The offer is valid 2 November – 1 December 2026 (dates inclusive).
  • The offer excludes Accident only and Equine policies.
  • The promotion is limited to one Pet Database microchip registration per customer for new policies only, even if more than one eligible cat or dog policy is purchased.
  • The promotion does not apply to existing Pet Database customers. 

How it works:

  • Between 5 -7 days after your new cat or dog policy start date (“inception date”) you will receive an email containing your link for a free Pet Database microchip registration.
  • The link to redeem the Pet Database microchip registration will be valid until 23:59 on 6 January 2026. If the email containing the link is lost/misplaced, caught in spam filters, or the reward is not claimed by this date, Animal Friends will not replace the reward.

  • The reward link is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative.

Terms and Conditions

  • Animal Friends will take all reasonable measures to identify and decline fraudulent purchases; this includes but is not limited to; matching customer details to public platforms where we have been made aware of the publication of materials attempting to defraud or gamify our promotions.
  • You can’t benefit from this promotion if:
    • You don’t live in the UK
    • You’re under 18 years old
    • You are already a customer of Pet Database
  • We will aim to respond to any questions or queries regarding this offer via info@animalfriends.co.uk within two weeks.
  • Animal Friends reserves the right to cancel this promotion or amend these terms and conditions at any time, with reasonable notice.
  • Animal Friends is not liable for any loss or damage suffered by you in connection with the promotion.
  • Animal Friends reserves the right to refuse to give the reward to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
  • The decision of Animal Friends, in all matters under its control, is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into about our decision.
