Thanks for your interest in our monthly prize draw for renewing customers. If you're one of our 10 lucky winners, you'll also be asked to choose one of the following charities to receive a matching donation of up to £500 on your behalf:

Animal Friends Renewal Offer – Prize Draw Rules 

Participants will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions and agreed to be bound by them, when participating in this Prize Draw upon renewal of their policy (purchase of a renewal policy is required in order to enter this Prize Draw).  

  • The prize draw (the ‘draw’) is open to renewing customers who have not opted out of the draw and who renew their policy and have made at least one payment to that policy which remains active on the draw date. 
  • The Promoter: Animal Friends Insurance Services Limited (‘Animal Friends’), No.1 The Crescent, Sun Rise Way, Solstice Park, Amesbury, SP4 7QA. 
  • Entry to the draw is limited to one per policy. 
  • Renewing customers will be advised that they will be added to the draw in the communications sent by Animal Friends regarding renewal of their policy (which shall be sent by email, SMS or post depending on the type of communications that the customer has opted to receive) prior to their policy renewal date, and will be provided with instructions on how to opt out if they do not wish to participate in the draw. If you do not opt out, then upon renewal of your policy, you will automatically be entered into the draw. Entering does not guarantee winning a prize.  
  • You will be entered into the draw which takes place during the second calendar month after the end of the calendar month in which you renew your policy. So, if you renew in February, you will be entered into the April draw.   
  • Animal Friends employees are excluded from participating in the prize draw. 
  • The closing date for each renewing customer to opt into the draw is their policy renewal date, and the final closing date for renewing customers to be entered into the draw is 23:59 on 30th April 2025. Entries received after a customer’s policy renewal date or 30th April 2025 (whichever is earlier) will not be entered.  
  • The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault (including technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure) of any kind, delay or non-delivery of postal communications, or for incomplete renewals and renewals which are not completed will not be considered for entry into the draw.  
  • Ten winners will be randomly selected from each monthly draw to win the prize. 
  • The prize shall be either a credit equal to the winner’s annual pet insurance premium, or, if their annual premium is greater than £500, a credit of £500 which shall be credited to each of the winners.  
  • The prize is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative.  
  • In addition to the prize, winners will be able to select an animal charity from our approved list https://www.animalfriends.co.uk/renewal-prize-draw to receive a donation of the amount equivalent to the winner’s prize: for example if you win and your annual premium is £450, you will receive a credit of £450 and your chosen charity (as selected from our list) will also receive £450. If you do not wish to nominate a charity, Animal Friends will donate the amount to one of the charities from that approved list.  
  • Winners will be notified by Animal Friends via letter within two weeks of the draw taking place. The account or credit card which the winner used to pay their premiums will be credited within 30 days of being notified of their win. 
  • Animal Friends must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid prize award took place. To comply with this obligation, Animal Friends will publish on its website (http://www.animalfriends.co.uk) the surname and county of prize winners from the last monthly draw within one month after the draw. If you object to any or all of your surname and county being published, please contact us via email at marketing@animalfriends.co.uk . In such circumstances, Animal Friends must still provide the information to the Advertising Standards Authority on request. 
  • To be eligible for this promotion customers must: 
    • live in the UK. 
    • be over 18 years old.  
  • Animal Friends will respond to any questions or queries about the promotion via info@animalfriends.co.uk.  
  • Animal Friends reserves the right to cancel this promotion to new entries or amend these terms and conditions at any time with reasonable notice.  
  • Animal Friends reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions. 
  • The decision of Animal Friends in all matters under its control is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into. 
  • Personal data supplied during the course of this draw will only be processed as set out in the Promoter's privacy policy: Privacy Policy | Animal Friends. 
  • These terms and conditions and this draw are governed by English law. If any entrants to this promotion wish to take court proceedings, then they must do this within the courts in the United Kingdom.
