Who are Holly Hedge Animal Sanctuary?

Holly Hedge Animal Sanctuary is a local independent charity that rescues and rehomes unwanted, abandoned and often mistreated cats and dogs. They rescue and rehome over 800 cats and dogs a year, ensuring that they all go on to find excellent homes.
Every animal receives the highest in standards of care whilst staying at the Sanctuary, whether they are there for one day or one year. The dedicated team of staff and volunteers ensure that every animal gets the food, veterinary attention and of course love and cuddles they so need, the staff come back at night to give a late night walk or cuddle to every dog and cat and even ‘tuck them in’ before they leave.
Holly Hedge operate a strict non-destruction policy and will do everything in their power to offer each animal the best new start in life – from costly vet bills to behavioural therapy, no animal is ever let down. They receive no funding from the government or National Lottery and rely on the generosity and goodwill of their supporters to keep their kennel and cattery doors open to animals in need. Animal Friends have donated to Holly Hedge to help them with their ever increasing running costs, and the Sanctuary is grateful for every penny it receives.
