Based in London, All Dogs Matter coordinates fostering and kennel spaces for dogs whose owners can’t, or won’t, care for them anymore. While dogs are in their care, All Dogs Matter will neuter/spay, microchip and vaccinate them to ensure their ongoing health and safety. They work hard to find the right owners for the right dog, making sure that these animals find the forever home they deserve.
We've Donated £6666.67!
On the 3rd December, we continued our Christmas Giveaway by visiting All Dogs Matter in London with a very special gift and a celebrity guest…
We met with the charity’s patron, actress and TV presenter Michelle Collins, and her dog Humphrey. Michelle helped us to present a Christmas cheque for £10,000 to executive manager Ira Moss.
Michelle said “All Dogs Matter is one of my favourite charities, because I got my dog Humphrey from All Dogs Matter, so it’s very special to me.”
Ira was very surprised by the amount, as she was only expecting a £1,000 donation! We were delighted to bring a smile to her face, and as she said herself, “It’s a very nice surprise, especially this time of year. Sadly we’re already seeing a lot of pre-Christmas abandonment.” The donation will go towards emergency vet bills and kennelling over the holidays.
“We get countless calls every day.”
Ira had a message for any dog-lovers who wanted to help: “If you’d like to adopt a dog over Christmas please contact us. Or, if you’d like to donate any food or blankets our kennels will be taking those in.” She also told us that she has dog insurance with us, which is always great to hear!
